Dozier Elementary hosts PBIS candy shop
On Friday, March 14, 2013, Dozier Elementary hosted their PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) celebration.
The PBIS program used parish wide, is to create positive school environments for the students. This is the 2nd annual Candy Shop event Dozier has hosted.
The theme for this PBIS event called the “Candy Shop” was spearheaded by Assistant Principal Natalie Hebert. On hand to assist Hebert were the Dozier Elementary 5th grade “Student of the Year Candidates.”
Those included: Lauren Sonnier, Courtney Dubois, Heather Green, Chandler Toups, Grace Trahan, Ross Delcambre, Evan Frederick, Olivia Lopez, Blaize Castille.
The event is funded by Friday Blue Jean Days and every student was able to attend. Students who earned "Bobcat Bucks" had the choice to visit the “Sweet Shop” and purchase “treats” using their school bucks for their positive behavior.
