Lady Pirates fall to Lady Panthers

The Kaplan Lady Pirates first round matchup in the 10th Annual Lynette Viator Memorial Tournament, was against the Catholic High Lady Panthers.

Despite a late run in the fourth quarter, the Lady Pirates weren’t able to come back, and lost by the final score of 41-33.

At halftime, the Lady Pirates found themselves down 21-12.

The fourth quarter is when the Lady Pirates started to make their comeback. They outscored the Lady Panthers 18-11.

Unfortunately it was too little too late for the Lady Pirates.

Leading the way for the Lady Pirates was Caroline Touchet, who scored a team and game high 16 points.

Touchet scored all six of the Lady Piraes points in the first quarter, and six of their 18 in the fourth.

Getting in on the scoring action, along with Touchet, was Lauren Touchet and Kailey Lejeune, who each added six.

Kendra Gums and Dayne Bass each added three and two respectively.
