Kaplin host Berwick
The Kaplan Pirates are gearing up for district play and have only three games before the district schedule begins and that first of those three games is against Berwick, tonight.
“They are a good young team,” Pirates Head Coach Jeff Davis said. “Berwick is a very improved team, they are young and very athletic. We are going to have our hands full.”
The injury bug is something that most teams have to deal with and fortunately the Pirates have no major injuries.
The Pirates are actually getting someone back from injury. Darius Jordan is set to rejoin the starting lineup with the likes of Jalen Bates, Devantae Davis, Kaylon Rudd and Blake Touchet.
Coach Davis mentioned that, if the Pirates are going to have continued success, they are going to have to continue to feed the ball to their big man, Jalen Bates, down low.
The Pirates enter this game on a two game winning streak.
This game is also the third of four straight games the Pirates have hosted at home.
