Erath loses consolation game of AES Tournament in overtime

In the consolation game of the AES Tournament, it took more than four quarters to decide a winner.
Berwick was winning entering halftime by the score of 27-15.
Erath battled back, and won the second half 39-27, to tie the game at 54-54 behind a full court press.
Unfortunately for the Bobcats, they just couldn’t hold the momentum and lost in overtime by the final score of 57-56.
Alec Toups led the way in scoring for the Bobcats with 21 points. Aaron Greene wasn’t far behind, scoring 17 himself. Elijah Mitchell added nine of his own.

Delcambre had the lead at the end of the first, but couldn’t hold on, losing to Hanson by the final score of 53-49.
Delcambre outscored Hanson in the first and fourth quarter, 35-21. However, it was the second and third quarter that was the achilles hill for the Panthers. They were outscored 29-14.
Alex Barras led the Panthers in scoring with 16. Chevaun Walters and Chris Borel each added eight. Reese LeBlanc was only one behind with seven points scored.

Abbeville fell into an early 20-4 hole at the end of the first quarter and just couldn’t make a comeback, losing 59-32.
Nadeanon Mouton led the way for the Wildcats scoring 9. Clement Dorsey was on his heel adding eight.

Delcambre was losing at the end of the first but rallied the troops to win by the final score 33-26 over Comeaux.
Nicole Bouillion led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 18. Emily Romero, Tori Verret and Kesler Dooley each added five.

North Vermilion got down early and despite a push late, couldn’t finish the comeback losing 33-26 to Iota.
Simone Pillette led all Lady Pats in scoring with 10. Cassidy Hoffpauir and and Kelli LeBlanc added six and five respectively.

Ashari Terry led the Honey Bears in scoring with 12.

The Lady Bobcats suffered their first loss of the year to Lafayette by the final score of 40-29 in the finals.
Gaby Harrington and Caitlin Domingues led in scoring with eight.
