Lunden Graham (1) was named to the first team all district team for the first time.

All district volleyball team announced

The 2013 3A All-District Team was announced Thursday.

The North Vermilion Lady Patriots volleyball team was lucky enough to have five members of its team named to the 2013 3A All-District team.

Named as part of the first team all district squad is senior Brooke Dupuy and junior Lunden Graham.

This marks the second time that Dupuy has had the honor to have been named to the first team.

This is Graham’s first time being named to the first team squad.

Along with them several other Lady Patriots were named to the All-District teams.

Sophomore Claire Meyers was named to the second team. Lanie Breaux and Miranda Martin were both honorable mentions.

The future is bright for the Lady Pats, who are lead by head coach Celie LeBlanc.

This season marked the first year the Lady Pats both hosted and won a playoff game.

It also marked the highest ranking in the power rankings in team history, 12th.

All but one of the members of the Lady Pats team that were named to All-district team will be returning next season.
