Hargrave and Meaux wedding nuptials

Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kaplan hosted the wedding to unite Meagan Hargrave and Everette Meaux in Holy Matrimony. The April 17, 2010, service at 6:00 p.m. was officiated by Father Clint Trahan.

Meagan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michae Hargrave of Kaplan. She is the granddaughter of Aldes Bertrand and the late Curmay Bertrand of Kaplan and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hargrave of Kaplan.

Everette is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lenwood Meaux of Kaplan. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Meaux of Kaplan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Primeaux of Kaplan.

The bride wore a strapless gown made of light gold and champagne lace. The bodice of the dress featured a sweetheart neckline with shirred tulle accented by an applique’ of beadwork. The gown then flowed out into a slim A-line silhouette made of satin with a champagne beaded lace overlay. Finally, the gown was finished with a corset encloser and semi-cathedral length train.

The Maid of Honor for the wedding was Danielle Landry, friend of the bride. The Matron of Honor was Tracy Hargrave, sister-in-law of the bride. Serving as Bridesmaids were Amanda Landry and Kristina Hargrave, friends of the bride.

The Flower Girl for the event was Mia Primeaux, cousin of the groom; and Cole Hargrave, godchild of the bride, served as the Ring Bearer.

Brett Landry, a friend of the groom, served in the wedding as the Best Man. Serving as Groomsmen were Jaryd Hargrave, brother of the bride; Seth Richard, friend of the groom; and Jonathan D’Augerau, friend of the groom. Ushers for the wedding ceremony included Ryan Mire, cousin of the bride; Aaron Savant, friend of the groom; Eric Primeaux, cousin of the groom; and Louis Vincent, friend of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the couple will reside in Kaplan.
