Francis, Rougeau engaged

John and Ellen Francis are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lesley Claire to Michael Joseph Rougeau, both of Crowley.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bauer of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, and her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Francis of Jena.

Lesley is a 2001 graduate of Acadiana High School, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She is currently employed at Francis Drilling Fluids as the personnel coordinator.

The prospective groom is the son of Harold and Betty Rougeau of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are Margie Miciotto of Crowley and the late Joseph Miciotto, III and his paternal grandparents are the late Horace and Melba Rougeau of Crowley.

Michael is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School, a 2001 graduate of Louisiana State University at Eunice with an associate’s degree in business management and a 2004 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Michael is currently self-employed.

The couple will exchange their vows on Saturday, September 20, during a 6 p.m. ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Crowley. Pastor Dale Hensarling will officiate the ceremony.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Crowley.
