First 4-H horse events completed successfully in Delhi

The 4-H Club hosted horse events in conjunction with the 69th Annual Northeast Louisiana Livestock Show Jan. 31 in the Horse Barn in Delhi.

The English Walk Trot and Dressage events started at 10 a.m., and the Western Showmanship, Western Walk Trot and Western Horsemanship events were held after lunch.

The competitors in “Under 13” were Macie Clark, Savannah Collins, Isabella Dawson, Alana Florice, Abbie Guin, Victoria Jackson, Katie Vining and Camille Watts.

The “14 & Over” competitors were Samantha Tate and Chelsea Keene. The “High Points” winners in “Under 13” were Macie Clark firsst and Alana Florice second and “14 & Over” were Samantha Tate first and Chelsea Keene second.

Peggy Gaboury judged English/Dressage events and Cindy Smith judged Western events.
