Nguyen, Lemoine married in Broussard

Cailyn Voo Nguyen and Derek Richard Lemoine were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in a daytime ceremony on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Broussard, Louisiana. The Reverend Louis J. Richard was the celebrant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Van Huynh of Abbeville, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anh Ngoc Dang. Cailyn is a 2007 graduate of Abbeville High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed by Gene Fortier State Farm Insurance Agency.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rowdy C. Lemoine of Humble, Texas. He is the grandson of Dr. Richard and the late Margaret Michel, Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Lemoine of Marksville, Louisiana and Mr. Francis and the late LaVerne Chapman of Marrero Louisiana. Derek is a 2006 graduate of Saint Thomas More Catholic High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently employed by Subsea 7.
Escorted by her father, Cailyn wore a beautiful gown by Enzoani. The gown featured a bold cotton alencon lace appliques atop mesh organza. She chose a deep ivory tone. Her gown had a flattering strapless, scoop neckline adorned with a delicate scallop. The bodice was fitted through to the knee and had a wonderfully dramatic flared skirt which showed off the detailed fabric. The mermaid skirt and modest, sweep train was finished with an intricate, scalloped hem.
Cailyn was attended by her Matron of Honor Hannah LaHaye, Maid of Honor Jayde Thoan Le, Kim Nguyen, Kynsi Hebert, Brittany Hebert, Lori Montgomery and Courtney Poe, sister of the groom.
Derek was attended by Best Man Phillip Gary, Phillip Welborn, Johnny Sergi, Michael LaHaye, Andrew Sibille, Stuart Ellis and Andrew Poe, brother in law of the groom.
Ushers were Matthew Sibille, Jacque LaBry and Jean Paul LaHaye.
Flower girls were Aniya Brant, Raimee Brant and Alissa Hillestad, cousins of the groom.
Readers were Sara Hillestad and Shelby Dunbar, cousins of the groom.
Gift bearers were David Huynh and Tony Huynh, brothers of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Manor in Cade. The couple will honeymoon in St. Lucia before returning home to Lafayette.
