Perrault and Mathers exchange vows

Mareesa Renee Perrault, of Lafayette, and Ryan Paul Mathers, of Maurice, were married in a 7:00 p.m. ceremony on May 25, 2013, at Acadian Village in Lafayette. Reverend Matthew McCoy officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jody and Jeanene Thibaut, of Oscar, and Dirk and Stacey Perrault, of Glynn. She is the granddaughter of Myra Moniotte and the late Robert Moniotte Sr., of Jarreau, and Betty Perrault and the late Emerson Perrault Jr., of New Roads.

The groom is the son of Peter and Linda Mathers of Maurice. He is the grandson of Jean Broussard and the late Gustave Broussard Jr. of Maurice, and Larry and Glenda Mathers of Maurice.

The bride wore a Nicole Miller gown made of antique white crepe de chine silk with an intricate lace caplet and a chapel-length train. She was attended by her maids of honor, Layne Perrault and Valerie Perrault, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Aimee Whittle, Ashley Menard, Lindsey Bergeron and Adrienne Aucoin. Junior bridesmaids were Elizabeth and Haley Melancon, nieces of the bride, and Brailee Mathers, niece of the groom. Flower girl was Madelyn Perrault, sister of the bride.

The groom was attended by his best man, Giles Peltier. Groomsmen were Taylor Sellers, Tristan Lou Hebert, Ryan Bergeron, Vohn Mosing and Erich Mosing. Junior groomsman was Brennen Mathers, nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Vincent Cicardo, cousin of the groom. Usher was Brandon Mathers, brother of the groom.

Scripture reader was Mary Beth Broussard, aunt of the groom. Violinist was Thomas Benoit. Keyboardist was David Boudreaux.

A reception followed. After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Maurice.
