Luquette, Faulk announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis T. Luquette of Abbeville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexis Rae Luquette to Bradley John Faulk of Kaplan.

The bride’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis C. Luquette, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney L. Bertrand and Mrs. Helen Bertrand, all of Abbeville. She is a graduate of Kaplan High School of the class of 2007. Luquette attended Blue Cliff College in Lafayette and graduated with a degree in massage therapy in 2008. She currently works as a massage therapist.

The groom is the son of Mr. Randall Faulk of Kaplan and Ms. Barbara B. Faulk of Santee, CA. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Faulk of Kaplan and Mrs. Caroline Bosch and the late James Bosch of Slidell. Faulk graduated from Kaplan High School in 2007 and attended Louisiana State University. He graduated in 2011 with a degree in construction management. He currently works at Cajun Maritime in Abbeville.
