Langlinais, Schexnaider tie the knot

Molli Langlinais and Blake Schexnaider were joined together in a civil ceremony Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Woodman of the World in Maurice, Louisiana. Frances Soileau was the minister for the event.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Julie Langlinais of Kaplan, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Ed and Judie Gates of Lafayette, Louisiana and Alwood and Earline Langlinais of Kaplan.
The groom is the son of Timmy and Susie Schexnaider of Maurice. His grandparents are Rita T. Broussard and the late Harris P. Broussard of Maurice and Mary Lou Schexnaider and the late Ennis “Nooch” Schexnaider of Maurice.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her dress was a satin pick-up ball gown with beaded lace, embellished bodice and lace appliques with a cathedral train. Her bouquet was of deep red hydrangeas with pearl accents.
The maid of honor for the ceremony was Hannah Suire, who is a friend of the bride. The best man was Dustin Schexnaider, the groom's brother. The bridesmaids were Mary Beth Langlinais, sister of the bride; Courtney Bouvier-Campo, sister of the bride; Kellsee Thibodeaux, friend of the bride; and Lisa Schexnaider, sister-in-law of the bride. The maid of honor wore a knee-length horizon blue dress, while the bridesmaids wore a knee-length latte dress.
The groomsmen were C.J. Langlinais, brother-in-law of the groom; Hunter Kole, friend of the groom; Mitchell Schexnaider, friend of the groom; and Lucas Livings, friend of the groom. Logan Langlinais, godchild of the bride, served as junior groomsman.
The flower girl was the bride's niece, Courtney Campo, while the ring bearer was Colby Bouvier, nephew of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Phil Lormand. The recpetion was also held at Woodman of the World. The couple took a honeymoon to New Orleans. They plan to reside in Maurice.
