Jennifer Folse - Christopher ‘Kitt’ Jordan say vows

Miss Jennifer Folse and Mr. Christopher ‘Kit’ Jordan, both of Houston, Texas, were joined in marriage during a ceremony held at Southern Oaks Plantation on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
John Zimmer officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Faith Folse of Maurice, La. Her grandparents are the late J. B. and Ramona Boudreaux of Franklin, La. and the late Clayton and Leota Folse of Raceland, La.
The groom is the son of Emily Rambin of Lafayette, La. and Ronnie Jordan of Hershey, PA. His grandparents are the late O.K. and Eva Jordan of Robeline, LA. and Yolanda Rambin and the late John Rambin.
Two large textured arrangements were placed outside at the front of the house which included white hydrangea, purple snapdragons, deep purple stock; Blue Berry, Ocean Song, and Vendela roses; purple dahlias with accnet sof purple waxflower and an assortment of gardenia and eucalyptus foliage. The arrangements were placed upon 28” clear Annabelle vases and set on columns provided by Southern Oaks staff.
Escorted by her father, the bride walked down the aisle to Canon in D by Pachelbel.
For her special day, the bride wore a Winnie Couture designer dress called “Avalynn” which featured a white European lace pattern that is completely outlined with white embroidery. The dress also featured an overlay skirt which flared out into train length. Delicate embroidery at the waist added an extra touch and shaping.
Her traditional, classic veil with silver beading outlining the ends of the veil completed her look.
She carried a rounded bouquet with some texture which included lush white hydrangea, eggplant mini calla lily, white Freesia, deep purple ranunculus with accent of Blue Berry and Blanc de Blanc roses with matching spray roses. The bouquet handle had a white double face satin ribbon treatment with pearl button closure.
Attending as maid of honor was Kasie Hargrave. Bridesmaids included Brooke Folse, Phallyn Folse, Claire Arceneaux, Amy Walker and Adrienne Theriot. They wore plum chiffon Al-line, strapless sweetheart gowns with a removable lace jacket. They carried rounded bouquets with lush white hydrangea, eggplant mini calla lilies, lavender Freesia, white ranunculus with accents of Eskimo and Blue Berry roses with matching spray roses. White waxflowers and gardenia foliage completed the bouquet. Their bouquet handles had a white double face satin ribbon treatment with pearl button closure.
The flower girls were Molly Walker, daughter of Chris and Amy Walker and Amelie Cayula, daughter of Tonya Loht and Jean-Francois Cayula. They carried petite white wooden baskets with loose ivory rose petal and wore white satin sleeveless dresses with a scoop neckline. The natural waist was accented with a plum satin sash with self-tying streamers. Satin buttons covered the zipper.
Best man was Dee Alexander. Groomsmen included Justin Folse, Ryan James, Brian Young, Seth Robinson and Mikey Sipos. The ring bearer was Juliene Cayula, son of Tonya Loht and Jean-Francois Cayula. Ushers were Brandon Marrs and Lee Foote.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at Southern Oaks Plantation serving a buffet style dinner with a New Orleans jazz band.
The four tiered bride’s cake was provided by Royal Cakery in New Orleans.The groom’s cake was a red velvet LSU cake provided by Royal Cakery.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s family on December 9, 2016, at Tujague’s Restaurant and Bar.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of North Vermilion High School and a 2007 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandise. She is self-employed.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport, La. and a 2006 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a B.
S. in General Studies. He is employed at BreitBurn Energy Partners.
