Gaspard, Lege wed in Lafayette

Brittney Gaspard and Ron Lege were married on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Vermilionville in Lafayette, Louisiana. Minister Donnie Bolden officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry James Gaspard of Cow Island, Louisiana. Her grandparents are Harris and the late Joanne Gaspard of Cow Island; Shirley Leonard of Kaplan, Louisiana; and Roy Segura of New Iberia, Louisiana.

The groom is the son of Cindy and Frank Hebert of Erath, Louisiana, and Ronnie Lege of Nunez, Louisiana. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Lege of Nunez; Betty Schexnaider of Abbeville, Louisiana; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Hebert of Erath.

The bride was escorted by her father, Terry Gaspard. She wore a Galina Signature gown, soft white with ruched sweetheart bodice,a dropped waist highlighting an hourglass figure, beaded chantily lace appliques across the bodice flowing down to a unique organza-ruffled bottom with sweep train. Her veil was a Vera Wang Russian blusher with crystal accents and three-dimensional organza petals. The bouquet was all white and included peonies and roses, lace-accented bottom with her grandmother's rosary and pendant attached to add something special.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Amber Gaspard. The matron of honor was her friend, Stacey Guidry. The bridesmaids were Michelle Frith, the bride's cousin; Caty Touchet, a friend; Brooke Broussard, a cousin; Kaitlin Hebert, her sister-in-law; and Charli Derise, a friend.

Junior bridesmaids were Zoe Dartez, the bride's niece, and Sadie Abshire, the groom's godchild. Averi Guidry, the daughter of a friend of the bride, and Kenzie Miller, the bride's niece, were flower girls.

The bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids were a chianti-colored formal gown with a vibrant-colored fall bouquets. The flower girls wore white tutu dresses with white flower ball bouquets.

The best man for the ceremony was Troy Broussard, a friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Josh Trahan, Vernon Landry, Ravis Broussard and Casey White, friends of the groom, and Ardy Abshire and Bryce Gooch, both cousins of the groom. The ring bearer was Lathen Touchet, the bride's godchild.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Dustin Gaspard, a cousin of the bride. Readings were presented by Bryleigh Touchet, a cousin of the bride, and Maxine Hanks, the godmother of the groom. The ushers for the ceremony were Matthew Guidry, a cousin of the bride; Lucas Dartez, a brother-in-law of the bride and Jacob LeMaire, a friend of the groom.

The mother of the bride was escorted by Lucas Dartez. She wore an Adrianna Papell blouson formal gown with elegant lace from top to bottom with silk underlay, a scoop neckline and sleeveless silhouette accented with a ribbon belt at the waistline.

The mother of the groom was escorted by the groom. She wore a Jordan design formal gown, black in color, with elegant lace bodice and a cameo underlay.It had a bateau neckline, a trumpet skirt and draped waistband.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at L'Eglise. The couple will reside in Cow Island.
