Mary “Ms. B” Levine

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary “Ms. B” Levine, 95, the former Mary Green will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 300 S. Lamar St, Abbeville, LA.
Rev. Darrell Thibeaux, will be officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM Tuesday at the church until time of services.
Mrs. Levine was born March 15, 1919 to the union of the late Babe Green and Mae Bessard Green in Abbeville, LA she was married to the late Purvis Levine, Sr.
She was a lifelong member of Mt. Triumph where she served faithfully until her health prevented her from being active in worship.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four children: Raywood Levine, Sr., Junior Levine, Gracie Abshire and Emma Davenport as well as several siblings “ Ms. B”as she was lovingly called peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 surrounded by her family at her home in Abbeville, LA. A life well lived a rest well earned.
Mary Green Levine, a loving mother and grandmother, leaves embracing the hearts of her five children, Purvis Levine, Jr., Hervis Levine, Joseph Levine, Dorothy Levine and Mary Ann Levine, all of Abbeville, LA; her six sibilings, Earlest Green, Baton Rouge, La, Norris Green, Shreveport, LA, and Orris Green, Port Arthur, TX, Rita Ford and Marjorie Green, both of Abbeville, LA and Rhoda Green, Dickerson, TX; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will always cherish her love and memory.
