Ashley Renee Vincent

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, LA for Ashley Renee Vincent. Ashley, 27, passed away on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 after her battle with Ovarian Cancer.
Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service.
Interment will take place in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Ashley was welcomed into the world on March 9, 1986. She graduated from Ovey Comeaux High School in 2004 and later completed her cosmetology degree at the Aveda Institute. Ashley received her Bachelors Degree in Health Information Management on May 18, 2013 from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Ashley immediately began as a Corporate Coding Specialist with Central Control Management. Soon after, Ashley was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Through all phases of her illness includingdiagnosis and treatment, Ashley’s faith never ceased. She fought her battle with grace and dignity. Ashley was ago-getter, hardly ever taking no for an answer! She enjoyed zydeco dancing, spending time with family and friends, and you could almost always guarantee where you found Ashley, you would also find a good time!
Survivors include her fiancé, Jake Boudreaux;parents, Kimberly Richard and Amiel Vincent; sisters, Amanda Barton and her husband Jason and Abby Vincent; her maternal grandparents, Mary and Dudley Richard, and paternal grandparents, Brenda Burley and Albert Charles “A.C.” Vincent. She is also survived by her loving family and friends and her beloved dog, Elvis.
Pallbearers are Matthew Madonna, Adam, Dylan, and Keith Richard, Jason Broussard, Jason Barton, Peyton Smith, and Bryce Barton.
Special thanks to all friends and family, the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes, especially the nurses of the Burn Unit, Heart of Hospice and Louisiana Oncology Associates.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 in the Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening. Visitation will continue Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 8:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ashley Vincent Benefit at Gulf Coast Bank or Miles Perret.
