Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit make arrest after drug bust

According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
Last week, the Vermilion Parish Criminal Investigations Division along with the Vermilion Narcotics division received information in regards to possible stolen items being located in several locations throughout the city of Abbeville. Vermilion Detectives enlisted the assistance of the Abbeville Police Department patrol division as well as the detective division. Agents began a thorough investigation into the locations and were able to secure search warrants for several properties. All agencies then went to each location and executed the search warrants on the various locations. As a result of the search warrants, agents were able to make the following arrests:
Tyrone Baudoin, who lives at 514 South Bailey in Abbeville, was found to be in possession of a large amount of suspected crack cocaine and was arrested and charged with Pwitd Sch II, (crack cocaine) and transactions involving drug proceeds.
Timothy Minor, was found to be in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine as well as a large amount of powder cocaine, broken up into quantities for street distribution. Minor was also found in possession of a firearm. Minor was arrested for Pwitd Sch II, (cocaine), and a Convicted Felon in possession of a firearm.
All subjects were arrested and booked into the Vermilion Parish Correctional center where they await bond.
