Parish firefighters mourn death of Indian Bayou Fire Chief

According to Matthew Trahan, President of the Vermilion Parish Fire Protection Association, Indian Bayou Fire Chief Kevin Villejoin, 48, passed away.

Trahan states his department was paged out to a medical emergency at Villejoin’s residence early Sunday morning.

Trahan also reports Villejoin wished to have a fireman’s funeral.

Villejoin leaves behind a wife, Vanessa Desormeaux Villejoin.
