Over $11,000 Received for Baton Rouge Police Officers

LAFAYETTE — Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) has received over $11,000 to its In the Line of Duty Fund in response to the tragic July 17 shooting of seven Baton Rouge Police Officers. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of all contributions will be given to those officers and their families.
Anyone wishing to make a contribution is encouraged to do so by Friday, July 29. Following that date, CFA will work closely with the Baton Rouge Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office to distribute 100% of the funds received to the officers and families affected by this tragic shooting.
