Moreland charged with theft by Rayne Police

She has already be arrested for allegedly stealing from Catholic church in Abbeville

Haylie Moreland of Abbeville is back in jail after being arrested by the Rayne Police on Monday.
Moreland was picked up by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff Office Monday at 2 p.m. and then released to the Rayne Police Department that afternoon.
She was charged by the Rayne Police with felony theft and identity theft, crimes allegedly committed in Rayne.
Her bond for both charges is $85,000.
However, the Louisiana Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Division placed a detainer hold on Moreland preventing her from bonding at this time.
The warrants were the result of a criminal complaint alleging that Haylie Moreland impersonated another person and defrauded the complainant of approximately $27,600.
This is not Moreland’s first run in with the law.
Two years ago, the Abbeville Police Department arrested Moreland twice. She was charged twice with burglary of a religious building.
Video allegedly showed her walking into a room at the church where the money was kept and then allegedly taking the money.
