Birthday celebrated despite bad weather

Ke’Ira Junae Nunez, who recently turned nine years old, celebrated a birthday recently, despite Mother Nature’s best efforts.

The party, held on July 18, 2014, was greeted with dark clouds and heavy rain. Despite the weather, there was still cake and ice cream for the guests in attendence, along with lots of balloons. Later that night, the party headed to the movies to see “Planes: Fire and Rescue.”

Nunez is the daughter of Randy Paul and Dorothy Nunez of Abbeville. She is the graddaughter of the late Floyd and Alice Harris of Abbeville, and the late Louis Luna Nunez of Abbeville.

Her birthday was on July 18, 2014. She was born on July 18, 2005.
