Phallyn Pontiff- Justin Folse united in marriage
Miss Phallyn Pontiff and Mr. Justin Folse were married during a ceremony on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Gray Plantation in Lake Charles.
Pastor Brad Ellerbe officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Pontiff of Broussard, La. Grandparents are the late Carrol and Mildred Pontiff of Abbeville, and James Griffin and the late Andre’ Ann Duhon Griffin of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Folse of Maurice, La. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jean B. Boudreaux of Abbeville Clayton Folse of Raceland, La. and the late Leota B. Folse.
Ushers included Chris Walker and Nick Theriot, brothers-in-law of the groom.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her father, James Griffin and her brother, Dr. James Griffin, DC. She wore a champagne lace and charmeuse jacket dress.

Escorted by her father, the bride’s gown featured ivory cap sleeves with an empire waist adorned with intricate beaded detail. The dress had lace over a satin gown with an illusion lace back and a chapel train.
She carried a clutch bouquet of coral and pale pink roses, along with hydrangeas with white accents. The handle was wrapped in antique white satin ribbon.
Krislyn Pontiff, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaid included Jennifer Folse, sister of the groom. The junior bridesmaids were Lauren and Camille Griffin, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Aryelle Cormier, godchild of the bride.
The attendants wore long, bright coral silk chiffon dresses. The junior maids wore a misty rose, short silk chiffon dresses. They all carried clutch bouquets with white flowers.
Chris Matherne, friend of the groom, serves as best man. Michael Viator, friend of the groom, served as a groomsmen. The ring bearer was Evan Walker, cousin of the groom.
The reception was held at the Graywood Plantation Clubhouse.
After a wedding trip to Georgia, the couple will reside in Lake Charles.
