Mary Cormier - Jacques Migues announce engagement

Bob and Kathy Cormier of Abbeville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Katherine Cormier, to Jacques Matthew Migues of New Iberia.
He is the son of Denise “Poochie” Denais of St. Martinville and Mr. and Mrs. Haywood “Tony” Migues Jr., of New Iberia.
The wedding will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2015 on the beach in Castries, St. Lucia.
The grandparents of the future bride are Jean Armijo and the late Elmer Armijo of Abbeville and Dulse Cormier and the late Thomas Cormier of Abbeville.
Mary is currently employed as a Non-Compliance officer for the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in New Iberia, La.
Grandparents of the future groom are The late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Germany, Sr., of Loreauville, the Late Aymar Denais of Lafayette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Migues, Sr. of New Iberia.
Jacques served as a United States Army Ranger with the 3rd Ranger Battalion, and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
He is currently an account director with Joey Migues and Associates in New Iberia.
