Mandy Foster becomes Mrs. James Leonard

Miss Mandy Elizabeth Foster of Abbeville and Mrs. James Warren Leonard of New Roads, La.,  were joined in holy matrimony during a ceremony held at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Father Bill Melancon officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Angela Foster of Abbeville. Her grandparents are C.J. Foster, Leonor S. Foster, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Warren, Sr., all of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Adolph and Linda Leonard.
Music for the wedding was provided by Johnny Luquette. Readings were given by Kim Touchet, friend of the bride and Becky Mayeux, sister of the groom. Offeratory gifts were brought up by special guests of the bride, her great-aunt Evelyn Harris and Tim Harris, cousin.
Ushers were Drew LaBorde, cousin of the bride; Gerald Bordelon, friend of the groom and Jimmy Lorino, friend of the groom.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory princess ball gown made of tulle over silky satin with a luxe organza band. The bodice and skirt featured an all over beautiful bead work and silver embroidery with a pleated band which had a beaded applique at the natural waist.
The veil was an elegant one tier, fingertip length, with scalloped silver embroidery edge.
She carried a silk arrangement of pink roses accented with mint and cream hydrangeas and finished with a soft pink satin ribbon embellished with pearls made by Christine Townley. For her something old, she carried a handkerchief fashioned from the groom’s bonnet and a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress was sewn inside the bodice of her dress.
The maid of honor was Maegan Sonnier, friend of the bride. Matron of honor was Jennifer Foster Mouton, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Karinda Hebert,  Krystal Boudreaux, Marcy Gustin and Shay Bordelon, all friends of the bride. The flower girls were Addison Mouton, niece of the bride and Lexie Mayeaux, godchild of the groom.
Grant Gustin, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Kenny Bordelon, Timmy Henry, Ben Cashio and Macon Jarreau, all friends of the groom, Dale Mayeaux, brother-in-law of the groom and Tommy Leonard, brother of the groom. Ring bearers were Avery Foster, nephew of the bride and Evan Boudreaux, godchild of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Theresa Family Life Center.
Following a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in New Roads, La.
A  rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at the Abbeville Country Club.
