Lormand - Dubois unite in holy matrimony

Miss Gabrielle Lormand and Mr. Roddy Dubois were joined in holy matrimony during a ceremony on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kaplan.
Reverend Mark Miley officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Marty and Rachael Lormand of Kaplan. Grandparents are Velma “Teeta” Vincent and the late Dale Vincent, Percy Lormand Jr. and the late Marie Lormand, all of Kaplan.
Parents of the groom are Ronald and Mona Dubois. Grandparents include Velta Dubois and the late Avery Dubois of Kaplan, the late Dennis and Ludy Bouillion of Erath.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Laura and Matthew Couvillion.
Readings were given by Kimberly Vincent, aunt of the bride and Jackie Bouillion, aunt of the groom.
Gift bearers were Torie Dubois, Erin May, Skyla Herpin, Callie Broussard and Sarah Vincent.
Ushers were Zayne Comeaux, friend of the ouple, Austin Styron, friend of the couple; Kalob Trahan, cousin of the groom and Bradley Christ, nephew of the couple.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her sons, Rhemy and Rhys Lormand.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her husband.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fit and flare gown with ivory gold lace, designed by Allure Bridals. The ensemble was completed with a satin lining chapel veil.
Her bouquet consisted of ivory roses with feathers and gold.
Emily Trahan, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Amber Lege, friend; Blaire Lormand, cousin; Maghen Lormand, cousin; Shantelle Robicheaux, cousin of the groom and Alexis Brousard, friend. Junior bridesmaids was Alexandra Trahan, cousin. Flower girls were Sara-Kate Trahan, godchild; Hadley Vincent, cousin and Anni Robicheaux, cousin of the groom.
The attendants wore rose gold trumpet fit, long dresses.
Chance Wilson, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Robbie Dubois, brother; Wyatt Pearce, friend; Scotty Lemaire, friend; Alex Schexnider, friend; Brett Broussard, friend; Rhemy and Rhys Lormand, brothers of the bride and Cale Trahan, cousin. Ring bearer was Nate Trahan, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Vermilion Fair and Festival Hall in Kaplan.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple will reside in Kaplan.
