Jennifer Langlinais - Gregg Coyle marry at St. Mary Magdalen Church

Miss Jennifer Langlinais and Gregg Ryan Coyle were joined in holy matrimony on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.
Monsignor Douglas Courville officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Glen and Jackie Langlinais of Erath. Her grandparents are the late Wilfred and Anna Langlinais of Erath, the late Robert Smith of Abbeville, and Hortense Smith of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Gregg and Cindy Coyle of Athens, Georgia. His grandparents are the late Delbert Gail Remington, Phyllis Remington, and Daryl and Beverly Coyle.
The church was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees with white lights and poinsettias placed at the base.
The bride and her party were driven to the church from Magdalen Place in a horse drawn carriage.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Tommy Guidry, organist and Dana Granger, vocalist. The song selected for the processional was Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring - Bach and the recessional was Rondeau - Mouret.
Escorted by her father, the bride’s dress was a soft and romantic gown with delicate white lace throughout over an ivory lining. It had a sweetheart neckline with off the shoulder cape sleeves and slight trumpet skirt. Her cathedral length veil was bordered on the edge with Alencon lace.
She carried a hand made wedding bouquet by Kate of Cultivar. The bouquet was in the colors of blush, dusty pink, champagne, ivory and taupe. The unique bouquet was made with reclaimed and new fabric, gorgeous brooches, sparking vintage jewelry, and loaded with romantic lace, tulle and French netting.
Leah Desormeaux, served as the maid of honor. Matron of honor was Chandra Breaux. Bridesmaids included Beth Harris, Meagan Zumbeck, Morgan Grayson, sister of the groom; Nicole Hebert Amy Chappuis, Blair Hovis, sister of the groom; and Abbey Millage.
The attendants selected their own dresses in the colors of the bridal bouquet, each being totally different in style and design.
They carried bouquets of ivory hydrangea overlaid with ohara roses, quicksand roses, ranuculas, babies breath and light blush silk peonies.
The flower girls were Olivia Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Harris, cousin of the bride; and Aria Langlinais, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Langlinais. They wore custom made champagne tutu skirts with a train and bodice of lace.
Gregg Coyle, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Tyler Evans, Brett Grayson, brother-in-law of the groom; Mark Langlinais, brother of the bride; Blake Langlinais, brother of the bride; Joe Louque and Tommy Hovis, brother-in-law of the groom. They all wore black tuxedos.
The ring bearers were Will Grayson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brett Grayson and Noah Langlinais, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Langlinais.
Ushers were Christopher Waguespack and Jared Lee.
A reception was held at Magdalen Place in Abbeville, La.
Magdalen Place was decorated with festoon lighting hung from the ceiling in a zigzag patter. Tables were covered in white and champagne table clothes randomly topped with lighted lamps, votive candles , or tall vases with blush and ivory flowers bursting out with willow and lots of hanging votive candles.
The bride’s cake was a three tiered French vanilla cake filled with amarreta filling on one layer and butter pecan on another. Each layer was trimmed in ivory lace. Flowers were randomly placed along each tier and a pearl topper of the letter C finished off the cake. The cake was placed on a lace crochet table cloth handmade by the bride’s aunt, Martha Smith.
The groom chose individual sized cheesecakes for his table with fondues of chocolate ganache and caramel sauces.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Saint Lucia, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Cafe Vermilionville in Lafayette, La. on December 26, 2014.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Erath High School and is certified in Petroleum Land Management with Beta Land Services in Lafayette, La.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA and is employed with Beta Land Services in Lafayette.
He is a University of Georgia graduate with a degree in Housing Consumer Economics.
