Godwin-LeBlanc united in holy matrimony

Miss JoAnn Joy Godwin and Mr. Travis James LeBlanc, both of Delcambre, became man and wife during a ceremony held on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre.
Father Nathan Comeaux officiated the 6:30 p.m. nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Godwin of Delcambre and Pamela Pedigo of Erath. Her grandparents are Stan and JoAnn Joy of Silverhill, AL, the late Elmer Godwin, the late Anna and Donald Pedigo, Sr., and the Velma McCarroll.
Parents of the groom are Darrell and Michelle LeBlanc of Erath. His grandparents are Alcee J. and Janelle Breaux of Lafayette, Glorine R. LeBlanc of Erath and the late Dallas LeBlanc.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jodi Bollich, soloist; Jude Gaspard, organist; A.J. Gribble, trumpeter; and Jim Price, French horn.
Readings were given by Raven Hulin, cousin of the bride and Heather Istre, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Chaz Istre, cousin of the groom and Matthew Babineaux, cousin of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by Chaz Istre. She wore a mocha, two piece dress with a sheer overlay skirt and lace adorned jacked with a flattering ruched cummerbund.
The mother of the groom was escorted by Travis LeBlanc. She wore a silver floor length chiffon skirt with sequin and lace top, with a jacket.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a candlelight, one shoulder lace sleeve, chapel length train with scalloped lace adorned with sequined floral appliques on train. The gown also featured a sweetheart neckline with ruched waist and corset back. The veil was elbow length with scalloped lace on edges.
She carried a hand gathered bouquet with pink garden roses, mother of pearl roses and white hydrangeas. The bouquet was accented with pearl buttons throughout, along with the grandmother of the bride’s cameo brooch pinned to the handle.
Kylie Veazey, friend of the bride was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Dylan Norris, Alexia Jackson, Shai Boruque and Crystal Crandall, all friends of the bride. Jamie Lemons, cousin of the groom and Kaylee Crandall, friend of the bride, served as flower girls.
The attendants wore a knee length blush pink lace illusion style dress with a sweetheart neckline, V-back and was accented with a bow. They carried hand gathered white hydrangeas, eskimo and vendela roses. The flower girls wore champagne colored lace dresses with illusion sweetheart necklines, accented with a side bow.
Marcus LeBlanc, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Tyler Rageur, Josh Broussard, Seth Hayes, Adam Bercegeay, all friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Carter Guilbeau, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at La Louisiane in New Iberia.
After their return from a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the couple will reside in Delcambre.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at the Riverfront in Abbeville.
