Couple to exchange vows at St. Mary Magdalen Church

Amber Nicole Trahan and Kerry Gene Trahan, both of Abbeville, are announcing their engagement and plans to marry.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony held at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Abbeville.
Amber is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Trahan Sr. of Abbeville. Her grandparents are the late Dua and Lovenia Trahan and Preston and Gladys Trahan.
She is a 2006 graduate of Abbeville High School and a 2008 graduate of South Louisiana Community College with a degree in EKG/Telemetry Technician.
She is currently employed as a medical office assistant with Lafayette General Medical Center in the office of Dr. Pillette and Dr. Orgeron.
Kerry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Trahan of Abbeville. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ullyess Peltier of Abbeville.
He is a 2006 graduate of Abbeville High School and a 2008 graduate of Louisiana Technical College as an electrician. He is currently employed with Universal Southern Services as an aviation fuel quality assurance specialist.
