Bliss Romero and Eric LeBlanc exchange vows of marriage

Miss Bliss Treya Romero and Eric Michael LeBlanc became man and wife during a ceremoney held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Erath, La.
Father Wayne Duet officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Marcus and Frankie Romero of Erath. Grandparents are Cebre and Janell Romero of Erath and the late Leedron and Emilda Mayard of Delcambre.
The groom is the son of Al and Jennifer Mendoza, and Randall and Donna LeBlanc of Erath. Grandparents are Anna Belle LeBlanc, Rolena Leblanc, and the late Leo LeBlanc and Kenneth LeBlanc, all of Erath.
Music was provided by Bridget Touchet, vocals; Jude Gaspard, organist; and Neil Simon, trumpeter. Readings were given by Carla Hebert, godmother of the bride and Kim Henderson, godmother of the groom.
Ushers were Blake Hebert, cousin of the bride; Ross Bernard, cousin of the groom, Chris Delrie, friend of the groom and Johnathan Mayard, cousin of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her husband. She wore an elegant strapless mermaid style dress. A pleated bodice, made of dusty rose satin, was accentuated with a sweetheart neckline, and flowed into a flared lace skirt of the same color. Her coordinating collarless, satin jacket featured three quarter length sleeves with crystal embellishments and a crystal closure at the front.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her husband, Al, and son, Eric. She wore a sleevelss gown featuring a sheer illusion buff colored overlay accented with a ribbon belt and an ornate jeweled brooch at the waist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown featuring a separate Rosario crepe back satin slip with a completeley beaded and lace overlay. The gown, ornamented with hand-placed lace motiff, was highlighted with an illusion bateau neckline, cap sleeves, a fitted bodice, with a trumpet style skirt and chapel length train. Her gown was accented with a crystal and pearl belt which highlighted the natural waist. Finishing the dress was a full button detailed back and a cathedral length lace veil.
The bride carried an elegant bouquet of ivory peonies adorned with pearl and crystal centers accented with ivory and blush roses tied with lace.
Megan LeBlanc, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor. Matron of honor was Kayley Myers, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Demi Butler and Ahna Hebert, cousins of the bride, Alexandra Broussard, Shelli White, Justine Gunnell, and Brooke Hebert, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids was Chloe Mayard, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Gabrielle Robicheaux, cousin of the bride and Allie Mayard, godchild of the bride.
The attendants wore a Mori Lee fitted A-line, floor length black lace gown featuring cap sleeves and accented at the waist with a satin ribbon detail. A deep cut and buttoned back completed the elegant look.
Seth Bourque and Kegan Myers, served as best men. Groomsmen included Blake Broussard, Gavin Broussard, Scott Backstrom, Seth Comeaux, Mitchell Amy, and Brett Koonce, all friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Jade Mayard, cousin of the bride. The ring bearers were Lane Bernard and Luke LeBlanc, cousins of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Delcambre Shrimp Festival Building.
After their return from a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Erath.
