Blair Romero becomes Mrs. Scotty Harrington

Miss Blair Ann Romero became Mrs. Scotty Joseph Harrington on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Kaplan.
Deacon Joseph Hebert officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Romero of Kaplan. Her grandparents are Ms. Elise Romero and the late Eraste Romero of Kaplan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Romero Sr. of Kaplan.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Harrington of Kaplan. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Luquette, Jr. of Kaplan and Ms. Ella Mae Harrington and the late Paul G. Harrington of Kaplan.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Johnny Luquette and Thomas Guidry.
Readings were given by Donna McCormick, godmother of the groom and Sandra Hoffpauir, godmother of the bride. Ushers were Carl and Quentin Harrington, brothers of the groom, and Brady Duhon, brother of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her husband, and the mother of the groom was escorted by her husband.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline. It had an empire waist with beaded detail, a bubble hem with a chapel train.
Lynsie Fulkerson, friend, served as maid of honor. Matron of honor was Christine Broussard, friend. Bridesmaids were Alerie Broussard, Maci Ardoin, Tisha Romero, Ciji Perrin, Kim White and Bailey Hebert. Nicole Harrington, niece, served as the junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Riley Duhon and Brylynn Romero, niece.
Brett Meaux, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Seth Broussard, Solomon Harrington, Luke Harrington, Brock Romero, Shane Romero, Mark Comeaux and Jarrot Pommier. Ring bearer was Dax Broussard, godchild of the groom, and Wyatt Harrington, godchild of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Vermilion Fair and Festival Building.
The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
