Ashley LaCaze becomes Mrs. Brad Frederick
Miss Ashley LaCaze of Scott, La., and Mr. Brad Frederick of Erath, La., were joined in holy matrimony during a ceremony held on Friday, January 22, 2106 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath.
Rev. Wayne Duet performed the nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard LaCaze of Scott. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Moulis of Lafayette, Mrs. Dot and the late Phillip LaCaze of Natchitoches, LA.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Frederick of Erath. Grandparents include the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Desormeaux of Erath, LA, Mrs. Rachel and the late Angerlas Frederick, Jr. of Erath.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a stunning Allure, fit and flare gown. The ivory gown featured a scalloped neckline with off-the-shoulder sleeves, a deep V-shaped back, and delicate lace throughout. The ensemble was completed with an ivory cathedral veil. She carried a bouquet of peony roses, hydrangeas, lambs ear, ranunculus and eucalyptus.
Laney LaCaze, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Brandi Landry Harris, Paige Andrews LaVergne, Maria Pusateri and Jordan Sims, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Madelyn Lee, cousin of the groom and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Lee.
The attendants wore varying Bari Jay floor length dresses, all in grey bella chiffon. The flower girl wore an ivory, tailor made dress of raw silk with a grey sash and a floral wreath headpiece to match the bride’s bouquet.
Garrett Frederick, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Quinten Blanchette, Byron Boudreaux, Jake Boudreaux, Micah Boudreaux and Richard Cassidy, all friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Luke Leblanc, cousin of the groom and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Leblanc.
Ushering the guests were Nicholas Comeaux, friend of the groom and Brett Lee, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at Magdalen Place.
The four tiered butter cream wedding cake was decorated with fresh flowers and topped with the couple’s new monogrammed initials. The cake was done by Crystal Weddings.
The groom’s cake was a two tiered butter cream hunting themed cake, also by Crystal Weddings.
After their return from a wedding trip to Disney World and Universal Studios, the couple will reside in Erath.
Hosted by the groom’s parents, a rehearsal dinner was held on Jan. 21, 2016, at L’eglise.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Acadiana High School and a 2015 graduate from UL at Lafayette. She is currently employed with the Vermilion Parish School Board at Abbeville High School.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Erath High School and studied at South Louisiana Community College. He is employed at Gulf Cane Services in Broussard.
