Stelly and Bourque wed in Lafayette
Morgan Michelle Stelly and Blake Anthony Bourque were united in marriage during a 7:00 p.m. nuptial mass held on November 5, 2011, at Le Pavilion of River Oaks in Lafayette. Reverend Robert Burdeaux presided over the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Cindy Johnstone, of St. Martinville, and Ricky Stelly, of St. Martinville. She is the granddaughter of W. Hon and Marguerite Guidry, of Parks, and Iva Stelly and the late James Stelly, of Breaux Bridge.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd and Lisa Segura, of Erath. He is the grandson of Lucille Bourque and the late Raymond Bourque and the late Anatole Maturin, of Coteau, and Clarabelle and Rolling Segura, of New Iberia.
Escorted by her step-father, the bride wore an elegant one-piece slim A-line gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and corset closure. Marvelously modern, this simple chich silhouette was made of luxurious satin with an exquisite gathered bodice and gathered train.
Samantha Rivers, friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor, and Kayla Courville, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Tashia Frederick, friend of the bride, Chelsea Frederick, friend tof the bride, Kaylyn Karnousky, friend of the bride, Kaitlyn Hebert, niece of the bride, and Leanne Bost, friend of the bride, served as the bridesmaids and Brooke Stelly, niece of the bride, served as the junior bridesmaid during the ceremony.
Kyle Billiot served as the flower girl, Dominic Frederick served as the ring bearer, Kayla Billiot served as the miniature bride, and Daxx Viator served as the miniature groom during the ceremony. Derek Bourque and Jordan Dugas served as the ushers during the ceremony.
D.J. Frederick and T.J. Segura served as the best men and Brandon Hargrave, Chase Melancon, Justin Melancon, Nick Bourque, and Logan Dugas served as the groomsmen, and Dezzi Viator served as the junior groomsman during the ceremony.
The couple plans to reside in Coteau.
