The Gueydan Honey Bears were able to win their final game of the season against Ascension Episcopal, 48-37.

This was a big game for the Honey Bears, as they were ranked 26th in the power rankings, and with this win they have all but guarnteed them a trip to the 1A State Championship Playoffs.

The Honey Bears got out to a lighting quick start as they out scored AES 26-16 in the first half.

After that, it was all about holding on to the lead.

Kylie Crochet led the way in scoring for the Honey Bears with 14 points.

Sheridan Guidry and T’nia Leger were not far off as they score 10 and nine points apiece.

Ashari Terry got in on the scoring action with seven point.

Kiara Charles and Ny boudreaux rounded out the scoring for the Honey Bears with six and two points respectively.

The Lady Panthers never seemed to find their groove as they got down early and eventually fell to Sacred Heart 71-33.

The Lady Wildcats fell to the Lady Pios for the second time this year.

This time around the Lady Wildcats were in the game from start to finsh they just could never make the run that was needed to over come the deficit they found themselves in.
