The game was tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, and with the bases loaded, Donald Comeaux came up to the plate and laid down a suicide squeeze bunt to score Seth Patin, for the walk off win of 3-2.

Along with having the game winning RBI, Comeaux also started the game at pitcher, and pitched a solid six innings.

Comeaux only gave up two runs on three hits. He also struck out seven Lutcher batters.

Taylor Abshire would come in to relieve Comeaux, pitch the seventh inning and get the win, moving his record to 3-1 on the season.

Patin led the way for the Patriots at the plate by going 2-for-4.

He also scored two of the Patriots’ three runs, to go along with two stolen bases.

Ty Desormeaux was 1-for-4 with an RBI-double in the fifth inning.

The Patriots’ record now stands at 16-1 overall and 2-0 in district play, and they will take that record to Sellers Field on Thursday and face off against the Vermilion Catholic Eagles.
