North Vermilion soccer blanks Kaplan 11-0

The North Vermilion Patriot soccer team continued their winning ways Saturday with a 11-0 win over Kaplan.
With the victory, the Patriots have won seven matches in a row since losing to Morgan City in the Copa Acadiana Tournament.
Seth Patin led the Patriots in scoring with four goals.
Other goal scorers were: Andreas Amador (1), Diego Amador (1), Connor Dupuy (1), Brandt Guidry (1), Camrin Hebert (2) and Scotty Meche (1).
Those who had assists were: Camrin Hebert (2), Diego Amador (4), Conner Patin (1), Andreas Amador (1) and Seth Patin (1).
Equally impressive to North Vermilion’s offense, has been their ability to play defense.
The team has not allowed anyone to score over two goals on them even in a loss.
They will be in action on the road against Notre Dame Saturday Jan. 17 at 11 a.m.
