Lady Pats top Lady Bobcats
The North Vermilion Lady Patriots handed the Erath Lady Bobcats a tough 10-0 victory, for their 11th win on the season.
This win for the Lady Patriots was also their fourth straight victory.
“Any time you play a district game, and a rivalry game like the one between the two schools, any kind of win is a good win,” Lady Patriots Head Coach Richard Prejean said. “I still think we are still a little sluggish. I’m happy with this win.”
Along with the offense, Hannah Vidallier was one of the main reason the Lady Patriots were able to wrap the game up in five innings.
Vidallier moved her record up to 5-3 on the season.
“She pitched well,” Prejean said. “To me, she kind of struggled a little last week. So, for her to come out here and pitch this well, it’s good to see that.”
The Lady Bobcats were just not able to get anything going on with the bats.
“That was a tough game,” Co-head Coach Brandon Thompson said, “It felt like the girl’s head just wasn’t in the game. I was pleased with some of the things the team did today. We are just going to put this behind us to regroup and rebound.”
The Lady Bobcats are back in action today as they travel to take on the Abbeville Lady Wildcats.
The Lady Patriots have a tough test on their hands as they are traveling to take on the Kaplan Lady Pirates.
That game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. today at Kaplan.
