For the second time this year, Kaylee Lopez has hit two home runs in a game.

Lady Patriots hit four home runs against Notre Dame

LEROY - Kaylee Lopez clubbed two home runs to carry the North Vermilion Lady Patriots to an 8-1 win over Notre Dame at NVHS in seven innings on Friday.
As a team, the Lady Patriots finished with four home runs.
Lopez racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Lady Patriots. She homered in the first and third innings. She now has hit seven home runs on the year. She has three in the last two games.
Six runs in the opening three innings allowed the Lady Patriots to easily put away Notre Dame. A three-run home run by Lopez in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Lady Patriots.
The Lady Patriots hit four home runs in the win. Additional home runs for the Lady Patriots came when Lopez homered in the first and third innings, Demi Boudreaux homered in the fifth inning, and Claire Meyers homered in the fifth inning.
Boudreaux has hit a district high 13 home runs this year. Meyers has hit seven home runs this year.
Shelby Breaux recorded the win for the Lady Patriots. She allowed one run over seven innings. Breaux struck out six, walked three and gave up five hits.
Sydnei Simon was charged with the loss. She lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
