Bouillion’s 28 lifts Delcambre over Lady Bulldogs

The Delcambre Lady Panthers won their second straight game Wednesday night 65-49 over Cecilia.
Nicole Bouillion led the charge by Delcambre including a 24-point third quarter that gave the Lady Panthers a big lead that they were able to hold on to in the end.
Bouillion scored 16 points in the second half including 13 in the game-deciding third quarter.
Cecilia trailed by one point after the first quarter, and trailed 26-23 at halftime. Delcambre went on to outscore Cecilia 38-26 in the second half to get their fifth win of the season.
Bouillion led all scorers with 28 points, and Taylor Moneaux poured in 15. Other scorers were Mai Pope (2), Karlie Crochet (2), Tori Verret (8), Saige LeBlanc (3) and Kessler Dooley (7).
With the loss, Cecilia dropped to 0-10 with a game tonight against rival Breaux Bridge.
Delcambre improved to 5-7 on the season with a home game tonight against district rival Loreauville.
