Class 3A bracket released.

Now that the hold-up is over, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, has finally released the 2014 Class 3A brackets.
The North Vermilion Patriots, the class 6-3A co-distirct champs, with a record of 27-3, were the highest ranked team in Vermilion Parish.
They were ranked fifth. The Patriots will be facing off against Albany, the number 28 ranked team in Class 3A.
Albany has a record of 15-9.
The game against Albany and the Patriots will be held this afternoon at North Vermilion’s filed.
First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Erath Bobcats, the 6-3A co-district champions, with a record of 17-11, earned the 11th seed in the playoff tournament.
The Bobcats are on a bit of a hot streak. They have won 13 of their last 15 games.
As the 11th seed they will be hosting the number 22 team De La Salle.
De La Salle has a record of 15-11.
The game will be held at the Quality Sports Authority fields in Erath on Friday.
The game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
The Kaplan Pirates, who have been on the bubble all season long, can finally rest a little bit as they earned the number 31 seed with their 10-18 record.
Being the 31st seed means that they will have to travel to take on the number two seeded Evangel Christian Academy.
Evangel has a record of 20-8.
The game will be held in Shreveport on Saturday, and first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
