ABBEVILLE — Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of William Henry Miller, Jr., 69, who died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his residence.
He was laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services.
William was a lifelong resident of Abbeville and was proud of that fact. He loved loving here and would not have lived anywhere else. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and when his wife passed away he took up gardening to pass the time. William also proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his son, William “Chip” Miller and his wife Ann; sister, Phyllis M. Taylor; grandchildren, Ty Miller, Brett Miller and Ian Foreman; step-daughters, Jennifer Harrington and her husband Clint, and Jessica LeBlanc and her husband Brandon; and step grandchildren, Olivia, Cassie and Landon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Harrington Miller; and parents, William and Juanita Miller.
