Virgil J. Buck

ABBEVILLE – Virgil J. Buck, 93, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Eastridge Nursing Center.
At Mr. Buck's request there will be no services, prayers are requested.
A native of Pittsburg, TX and a resident of Abbeville, he proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II and was owner of Glenn Oil Co.
He is survived by two sons, James Glenn Buck of Perry and Robert S. Buck of Abbeville; a daughter, Stacie B. Guarin of Lafayette; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aureline Detraz Buck; his parents, James Gooley and Parlee Roberts Buck; two brothers, James W. Buck and William Buck; and a sister, Velma Lee Williams.
