ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Thelma Marie Moore LeBlanc, 86, who died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Eastridge Nursing Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Joey Comeaux, Dilan Comeaux, Mike Detraz, Daniel “Bubba” Boudreaux, Jude Duhon and Earl Chiasson, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shawnee Detraz and her husband, Michael, and Sharyon Boudreaux and her husband, Daniel “Bubba”; grandchildren, Michelle Comeaux, Jared LeBlanc, Joshua LeBlanc, Mark LeBlanc, and Matthew LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Dilan Comeaux, Paige Comeaux, Jennah Detraz and Amelia Detraz; brother, Alex Moore; and sister, Bernice Moore Meyers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford LeBlanc; son, Mark LeBlanc; parents, Claude Moore and the former Celima LeBlanc; grandson, Michael Detraz, Jr; and brothers, J.C. Moore, Fred Moore, and Lawrence Moore.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
