Mrs. Peggy Grayum LeBaron

Memorial services will be held at a future date to celebrate the life of Mrs. Peggy (Grayum), 98, of Port Richey, Fla., who died at Bayonet Point Florida Memorial Hospital on March 10, 2014, following a brief illness.
She was born June 27, 1915, in Cleveland, Okla. to Sadie (Cardwell) and Charles T. Grayum. A resident of Abbeville, La. from 1956 through 1978, she had also resided in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as Florida. While living in Abbeville, “Miss Peggy” was an active member of The First Baptist Church, the Lions Auxillary and La Clique de Etude Club. She was a bookkeeper at “Louise Amelia’s Gift Shoppe” for many years.
Mrs. LeBaron was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mr. Elwood H. LeBaron, whom she married on November 5, 1933 and seven siblings, including her twin sister, Rae.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Dixie L. Mayard of Abbeville, La., and Ms. Barbara L. Fredricksen of Hudson, Florida, and four grandchildren, Stanley Ware of Abbeville, La.; Angela W. Perfetti and husband, Sergio of Houston, Texas; Frederick Fredericksen III and wife, Jim of Salt Lake City, Utah; Philip Mayard of San Francisco, Calif.,; and numerous nieces and nephews.
