Lauren Ann Landry Cosgrove

Lauren Ann Landry Cosgrove died on December 23, 2015, after losing a battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by loving family and friends. Lauren is survived by her husband Benjamin Cosgrove, her parents Kit and Lee Landry, her sisters Carin Watson (Joshua) and Katie Troha (Jason), her brother Chad Landry (Cheryl), and her two cats, Charlie and Lingo. She adored her nephews, Thomas and Landry, and doted on her nieces, Sophia, Breelyn, Emma, and Mya, even from miles away. 
Lauren was a 2004 graduate of Erath High and a 2009 Ragin' Cajun graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education. Lauren also held a Paralegal Certificate. She worked for the Environmental Affairs Division aboard Camp Butler in Okinawa, Japan.
Lauren was an aspiring writer, a passionate history buff, and a lifelong student. A fantastic singer and a world class dancer, she inspired confidence and joy in those who knew her, near and far. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas. Burial was in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. www.jaynesmemorialchapel.com
