ABBEVILLE — A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Keith Paul Duhon, 46, who died Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Odessa, Texas due to an automobile accident.
Rev. Brian Harringon will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mark Duhon, Carl Duhon, Marcus Duhon, Chris Marceaux, Emile Duhon, Brannon Quibodeaux and Charlene Adams. Honorary pallbearers will include Brent Lambert and Chris Thibodeaux.
He is survived by his wife, Courtney Picou Duhon; son, Cade Touchet; daughter, Emile’ Duhon; three brothers, Carl Duhon and wife Vanessa, Jeffery Duhon, and Mark Duhon; four sisters, Charlotte Duhon, Peggy Marceaux and husband Chris, Allie Duhon and husband Randall, and Gail Duhon; sisters-in-law, Michelle Theriot Duhon, Patty Martin, Shalacy Griffin, Britney Lopez, and Kayler Hancock; three godchildren, Heidi Fritz, Lane Hancock, and Luke Duhon; in-laws, Sue Clark and Wayne Picou; godmother,Charlene Adams; twenty-six nieces and nephews; and twenty-nine great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery Duhon and the former Joyce Trahan; two brothers, Emile Duhon and Wayne Martin; and sister, Cynthia Duhon; nephew, Bobby Duhon; brothers-in-law, Jerrel “Bubba” Hancock and Kurt Chaisson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services on Thursday, December 10, 2015. A rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
