Kaye Gary Smith

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Kaye Gary Smith, age 67, at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Friday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.
A native and resident of Erath, Mrs. Smith passed away at 5:05 am on, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed crabbing and fishing; playing bingo, and delivering papers on her paper route. She cared for and loved her family dearly and spending time with them.
She is survived by her son, Gary Smith and wife Carol of Youngsville; two daughters, Augustine Hebert of Erath and Ashley Perez of Delcambre; fourteen grandchildren, Michelena Smith; Mariah Smith; Cody Menard; Derrick Menard; Eric Romero, Jr.; Braydon Gary; Amber Romero; Drey Touchard; Devin Touchard; Dasin Smith; Tyler Boyette; Tayden Boyette; Tevin Gary and Makayla Alario and numerous Great Grandchildren; two sisters, LisaGary of Avery Island and Eva Duplantis of Delcambre and five brothers, Eddie Gary and Celeste of Delcambre; L.J. Gary and Rosemary of Chauvin; Gordon Gary and Giselle of Erath; Michael Gary and Christine of Abbeville and Glenn Gary and Gayle of Delcambre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Smith, Sr.; son, Kevin James Smith; parents, Leonce and Rosa Mae Bourque Gary, Sr. and one sister, Jackie Robicheaux.
Pallbearers will be Drey Touchard, Eric Romero, Gordon Gary, Jr., Kyle Gary, Glenn Gary, Kelly Duplantis, Justin Gary and Dustin Gary.
Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Hebert, Russell Vice, Gary Smith and Devin Touchard.
