Kathleen “Kat” Steen Dore

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Kathleen Steen Dore, age 65, at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery in Erath.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.
A native and resident of Erath, Kat passed away at 1:41 p.m. on, Monday, September 7, 2015 at her residence.
Kat is survived by her children, Erica S. Tierney and husband William of Erath and Neil Steen and wife Sharla of Maurice; her companion of 38 years, Gail Laviolette and her children, Issac Laviolette and his wife Maygan and Ashley Laviolette all of Erath and nine grandchildren, Grayson Tierney, Jabien Tierney, Morgan Steen, Dray Rodrigue, Trinity Laviolette, Hunter Derouen, Keira Laviolette, Jimmie Dodgen and Kalee Dodgen. She is also survived by one sister, Joslyn Ledet of Delcambre and two brothers, Joseph Bradley Steen and Troy Steen both of Erath.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Curdey and Audrey Suire Steen; one sister, Shirley Steen and one daughter, Rita Laviolette.
Pallbearers will be Neil Steen, Issac Laviolette, Dray Rodrigue, William Tierney, Brent Connor and Gerald Delcambre.
