MAURICE — Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Jessie Mouton, Sr. who died July 3, 2014 at Eastridge Nursing Center in Abbeville, LA.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Michael Sucharski, SVD. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Peter Mouton; two sons, Jessie (Gale) Mouton, Jr., Nathan (Michaline) Mouton of Maurice, LA; three grandchildren, Cedrick Mouton, Jessica Mouton of Maurice, LA and Tamara Mouton of New York; seven great grandchildren and one sister, Susan M. Francis of Kaplan, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Leonida Mouton; two sisters, Leola Melancon and Iris Mouton; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Peter and one brother-in-law, Len Peter.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 7:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
