Mr. James Howard Brown passed away on the evening of Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence in Kaplan, LA.
James spent much of his working life as a Master Carpenter. He truly loved nature and the great outdoors with hunting and fishing being among his choice activities. Bar-B-Qing anything on the grill was enjoyable to him. James as an avid Saints and LSU fan and enjoying watching a good football game. He was ever so crafty with his hands. He was a beautiful furniture builder. James took great pride in his work and spent the last nine years as a master carpenter offshore. He was very proud of all the contributions in the industry. James loved animals.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Elizabeth A. Brown his parents, John and Earline Brown of Starksville, MS; two sons Sean C. Brown and his wife Britini E. Brown of New Iberia, LA and David E. Brown and his wife Amanda C. Brown of Scott, LA; three brothers John Brown and his wife Diane of Starkville, MS, Timmy Brown and his wife Evelyn of Starkville, MS, Richard Brown of Starkville, MS; three sisters Agnes Brown Ault and husband Joe Ault of Pensacola, FL, Doris Austin of Westpoint, MS, Nancy Brown Winters and husband Norman Winters of Austin, TX. He also leaves lasting memories with three grandchildren, eight nephews and one niece.
