Harold Glendon Parker

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice for Harold Glendon Parker, 82, who passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 7:35 pm at his residence.
Brother Tom Lambert, Pastor of Community Baptist Church and Brother Barry Thompson will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Milton, LA.
Harold, a resident of Maurice, LA was the son of the late Elmer Parker and the former Dorothy Johnson.
Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, who will be dearly missed. He worked in the oil & gas industry for many years and retired at the age of 81. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. His Family and Church were most important to him.
He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Parker England and husband David; his son, James W. Parker; and his daughter, Lee Parker Hebert and husband Brad; his six grandchildren and one great grandchild; his brother, Raymond Parker and wife Bobbie Lee.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty eight years Nelda Gray Parker, his parents, his daughters, Sara Lee and Sara Mae Ellen, brother, Malcolm Parker.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 9:00 am until the time of service.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Staff of Heart of Hospice.
